AN ENAMELLED GLASS ‘PRUNUS’ SNUFF BOTTLE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The bottle is fnely enamelled with a continuous scene depicting prunus branches with bright blooms
and butterfies in mid fight. The bottle is supported on a short foot and the base bears a three character
inscription reading ‘Gu Yue Xuan’. The coral stopper is carved with a coiled dragon.
