A FAMILLE ROSE INSCRIBED ‘LANDSCAPE’ SNUFF BOTTLE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The bottle is brightly enamelled to the central roundel with an idyllic landscape. The reverse is decorated
with a long inscription in lishu. The sides are enamelled with loose blooms borne on leafy scrolls and
reserved on a gilt-ground. The tourmaline stopper is carved in the form a small bud.
