A PALE CELADON JADE MARRIAGE BOWL
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The deep bowl is fnely carved to the interior with a roundel of blossoming fowers and densely curled
leaves. The steep, thickly-carved walls are fanked by two loose-ring handles, each surmounted by a
delicate butterfy with its wings outstretched and antennae ficked outwards. The stone is of an even pale
tone with white striations.
