A Tibetan gilt copper alloy figure of Padmasambhava seated
in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, the right hand holds a
vajra, the left holds a skull cup. Although lacking the katvanga
staff he can be identifed by the vajra and skull cup together with
the squarish hat a variant of his characteristic lotus hat. Sealed
bottom plate punched with a lotus flower. 16th/17th century.
