           A Nepalese patinated bronze figure of Buddha
           Shakyamuni with faint remains of gilding, seated
           in dhyanasana on a triangular curved  base, right
           hand in the bhumisparsha mudra, the left resting in
           his lap, dressed in a simple pleated robe, face with
           downcast expression and aquiline nose. With finely
           carved lotus throne hardwood stand. 18th century.
           Weight 2650 g. H. 19 cm.
