An incised white-glazed ‘lotus’ bowl
Kangxi six-character mark and of the period
Of deep rounded sides rising from a gently flared
circular foot, incised on the exterior continuously
with a flower scroll bearing four lotus blossoms
at the compass points, all borne above a band of
overlapping leaf lappets, all under an even and cool
bluish-white glaze, the pointed convex base with a
six-character kaishu mark within double circles.

A small white-glazed moulded
‘dragon’ waterpot, guan
18th century

The finely potted jarlet moulded around the broad

shoulders and tapering body with two ferocious

dragons in flight amidst ruyi scrolls, all between

upright plantain leaves encircling the foot and ruyi-

heads enclosing the rim, covered in a thick and

lustrous milky-white glaze, small silver ladle.
