A FINE RU-TYPE GLAZED DOUBLE-GOURD FORM INK
PALETTE
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
(1736-1795)
The palette is delicately potted in the form of a flattened double gourd with a slightly
concave top surface, covered overall with an even glaze of greyish-blue tone. The bottom
of the underside is inscribed with a Qianlong reign mark, surrounded by five small
rounded spur marks revealing the fine white body.
