A YELLOW AND PALE RUSSET JADE FIGURE 明 黃褐玉雕瑞獸
OF A MYTHICAL BEAST

The turned head of the seated beast is well carved with a short beak,
a hair-incised beard, rounded eyes and floppy ears, and the tail is curled 出版:
up onto the rear haunches. There are areas of pale russet color and some A. Salmony,《Chinese Jade Through the Wei Dynasty》 紐約,
