MEDALLION’ BOWL
Kangxi six-character mark and of the period
The thinly-potted vessel rising from a tall, straight foot to rounded
sides and a gently flaring rim, the yellow ground delicately incised
to the exterior with four green roundels of coiled dragons chasing a
flaming pearl, separated by wispy clouds, all above a lappet band
above the foot, the interior with a further central medallion of a
dragon and flaming pearl amongst clouds.
