The baluster body standing on a small circular foot, with a short The censer decorated in shallow relief throughout with two scaly
makara spout with brass, silver and gilt-bronze mounts, the brass dragons chasing a flaming pearl amongst clouds, the stand
handle in the shape of a mythical beast, the lid with bud finial, held to supported by three short cloud feet and with stylised lotus and
the handle by a short chain with coral bead. 24cm (9 1/2in) wide Buddhist emblems.

Xuande six-character mark, Qing Dynasty or later AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE PEAR-SHAPED VASE
The thinly cast vessel standing on a small circular foot and adorned Qing Dynasty
with paired bracket handles on the straight sides. The pear-shaped body cast with paired tubular handles at the flaring
12.5cm (5in) across the handles neck, just above an archaistic band of bird motifs on a leiwen ground,
issuing six lappets of further archaistic designs enveloping the pear-
