Finely carved as a finger citron fruit issuing from a leafy branch, some Qing Dynasty
russet inclusions to the tips of the fruit tendrils, hongmu stand. 8.3cm Carved from a pale, even stone, as a small rhyton with chilong
(3.1/4in) long. terminal, a further chilong clambering in relief, a horned dragon
between two bats at the edge of the mouth, the body with incised
archaistic motifs with traces of gilt.
