A FAMILLE VERTE FLUTED CISTERN
Kangxi
Of baluster form with flattened reverse, painted and gilt with two
exotic long-tailed birds perched on blossoming prunus branches,
the lower body with a cell pattern reserved with two floriform panels
of phoenix and peonies, the metal fitting emerging from a moulded
wave-pattern roundel. 30.5cm (12in) high.
