            the low, conical sides rising from a straight foot   Ը๕
            to a prominent rolled rim, the interior carved   岤㕤楁㷗炻1986⸜
            and combed with a magniÞ cent peony blossom
            surrounded by a profusion of curling leaves and
            stems, the swirling lines of the motif moving
            lyrically beneath the translucent olive-colored
            glaze, the glaze deepening in tonality in the
            recesses and su# used with a Þ ne craquelure
            throughout, the unglazed footring burnt
            reddish-brown during Þ ring
