           the rectangular top depicting a gathering of the
           Immortals at a riverside pavilion in the company
           of elegant ladies and attendants, a deer nibbling
           grass nearby and second observing two cranes
           soaring past an old pine tree, details of the
           fabrics, fur, and vegetation Þ nely incised in
           the mother-of-pearl, all set over a pierced
           and shaped apron supported by four scrolling
           cabriole legs and inlaid with Þ ne diaper patterns
           and ß oral scrolls, Japanese wood box (3)
