A DARK GREEN JADE RABBIT-FORM PENDANT
LATE SHANG-EARLY WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY,
11TH-10TH CENTURY BC
The pendant is carved as a recumbent rabbit, and is pierced through the fore
paws with a hole for suspension. The jade is of dark green color with areas of
white alteration.
