A BLUE AND WHITE DOUBLE-GOURD VASE
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The vase is potted with two pronounced bulbs, each decorated
with dense meandering foral scrolls, divided by a waisted neck
encircled by a band of classic scroll, the narrow mouth rim with a
lappet band, and the foot with overlapping petals.

A BLUE AND WHITE FACETED VASE
LATE WANLI PERIOD, 17TH CENTURY
Each facet of the body is decorated with a fowering branch below
fower-head tendrils on the broad shoulder. The facets of the neck
are decorated with a fower spray and butterfies.
