                 A LARGE SANCAI-GLAZED POTTERY
                 FIGURE OF AN OFFICIAL
                 TANG DYNASTY (AD 618-907)
                 The tall dignitary shown standing on a rock base and
                 wears a short amber tunic with green, cross-over
                 lapels and deep sleeves with splash-glazed borders,
                 the hands are hidden with a muf, and he also wears a
                 court hat and shoes with up-turned toes.
