                                                                               A LARGE CHESTNUT-GLAZED POTTERY
                                                                               FIGURE OF A HORSE
                                                                               TANG DYNASTY (AD 618-907)
                                                                               The horse is fnely modeled standing foursquare
                                                                               on a rectangular base, and is covered
                                                                               predominantly in a glaze of chestnut-brown color.
                                                                               The mane falls to one side of the neck and is
                                                                               covered in a cream-colored glaze, and the saddle
                                                                               is unglazed.
