Surmounted by a lotus bud, swirling ribbons,
the crescent moon and sun, and lotus-borne
chintamani.

This type of stupa is associated with
the Kadampa sect in Tibet. Grander
than the majority, it bears the additional
Mahaparinirvana sun-and-moon finial. Others
