cast seated with legs crossed in dhyanasana The censer of bombÈ form with twin upright
and hands held in dhyana mudra atop a loop handles and on three plain feet,
double-lotus base decorated with beaded displayed on a lotus form stand raised on
rim 9.8cm high, together with a Shakyamuni, three ruyi-shaped bracket feet.
Burma, 19th century, the seated figure Censer 14.5cm wide, stand 14cm diameter,
in loose robes with one single fingertip total weight 2854g 190
pressed to the base, this commemorates
Shakyamuni’s final victory over Mari and his £1,500 - 2,000
attainment of Buddhahood.
