COPPER-RED DECORATED ‘LIONS’
VASE, TIANQIUPING
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The vase is decorated in underglaze blue
and copper red to depict lions playing with
brocade balls, including two around the
neck and six around the globular body. The
base is unglazed.
