ENAMELLED TRIPOD CENSER AND
COVER
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The cover is inscribed in gilt with four
characters Shang Gong Fei Ding,
surmounted by a gilt coral-shaped finial,
both cover and censer applied to the
exterior with a coral-red enamel, the interior
covered with a clear glaze. The slightly
sunken base of the censer is unglazed
revealing the porcelain body.
