MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE oval cartouches with the characters zhaijie
WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF (abstinence), all within a gilt raised border
THE PERIOD (1723-1735) and an outer field of lotus scroll on a pink
The dish is enamelled on the interior in the ground. The reverse is similarly decorated
‘boneless style’ with a brightly coloured with the inscription inscribed in Manchu.
