A BRONZE FIGURE OF GUANDI
The god of war is shown seated with his left
hand resting on his knee, and his right hand
holding his long beard. He is wearing robes
and elaborate armour detailed with a lion-
form epaulet and incised dragons and leafy
scrolls. His face has a fierce expression
beneath the cloth cap which is tied with a
ribbon.
