A YELLOW JADE ‘OWL’ PENDANT
NEOLITHIC PERIOD, HONGSHAN CULTURE
depicted with its wings spread, its heart-shaped face carved
with large rounded eyes, the back of the neck pierced with
two small apertures for suspension, the stone of translucent
yellow tone with russet inclusions
