                          AN INSCRIBED WHITE JADE ‘HORSE BATHING’ TABLE SCREEN
                          QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
                          The rectangular plaque is carved on three sides with reticulated keyfrets, to the surface
                          with a scene depicting two horses resting on the embankment by a flowing stream in the
                          shade of wutong trees. The upper left corner is inscribed with the characters yuzhi ‘By
                          Imperial command’, followed by an Imperial poem.
