A WHITE JADE PLAQUE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The rectangular plaque is carved to each side with a panel surmounted by two archaistic
kui dragons, one side is carved with the two Qiao sisters kneeling reading a book, and the
other side is carved with a poem. The jade is of a pale even tone.
