Comprising a white jade mythical animal,
carved recumbent, head reared up, an
aperture drilled through the body, the stone
of pale-white tone with russet skin, Tang/
Song dynasty, 3.5cm (1 3/8in) long; a green
and russet jade dog, probably Tang Dynasty,
7cm (2 3/4in) long; a green jade recumbent
mythical beast, Six Dynasties, 8cm long; and
a small pale green and russet jade mythical
beast, Tang/Song Dynasty,
4cm long (4).
