fluttering amongst bushes beneath a gilt
mouth rim. The interior is plain.

GROUND FAMILLE ROSE
GARNITURE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
Comprised of two gu-shaped vases and
three covered baluster vases, all similarly
decorated with leaf-shaped cartouches
enclosing peonies and pine trees in famille
rose, all against a cafe-au-lait ground. The
interior and base are covered with a clear
glaze.
Gu vases: 10q in. (26.8 cm.); baluster vases
including covers: 12¿ in. (30.8 cm.) high (5)
