Both figures are shown standing with feet apart on the separate softwood The bodhisattva is shown seated in lalitasana, with the right foot resting on a
bases carved as rockwork. One figure is shown with the hands clasped and the lotus support and the left hand raised in vitarkamudra. The figure is arrayed in
face in a serene expression, while the other is shown with a fierce grimace and beaded jewelry, with large pendent earrings and a foliate crown obscuring the
bulging eyes. Both wear a helmet surmounted by a prominent tuft and ornate figure of Amitabha Buddha seated in front of the coiled topknot surmounted
layered armor secured at the waist with a belt of `jade' plaques and a monster by a small lotus bud.
