                                                                          清道光   匏製龍紋小瓶                                                  reign of the Qianlong Emperor. The mark Qianlong shangwan
                                                                                                                                        (‘appreciated by the Qianlong Emperor’) was reserved for
                                                                          《道光年製》款                                                       an exclusive group of gourd vessels commissioned by the
                                                                                                                                        Emperor for his personal enjoyment and collection.
