lingzhi-shaped vessel with generous thick walls curving
inwards towards the rim, borne on a thick leafy stem issuing
clusters of smaller lingzhi heads around the exterior, flanked
by two crouching boys holding on to the walls, their chubby
faces with a cheerful expression, the hair gathered into two
topknots, clasping a ruyi sceptre and a spray of Chinese
evergreen in their hands respectively, the well-polished stone
of an attractive opaque white tone, the original wood stand
intricately carved with lingzhi shrubs growing from cragged
rocks, above a pierced apron inlaid with archaistic scrolls and
ruyi strapwork in silver wire
