Each enamelled on a yellow ground with a lotus
encircled by leafy scrolls issuing flowers and double
gourds bordered by a band or ruyi head at the rim,
the exterior of the foot similarly decorated and the
interior enamelled pink. Each 20.3cm (8in) diam. (2).

A pair of cloisonné enamel ‘squirrel
and grapes’ yenyen vases
Late Qing Dynasty
Enamelled in mirror image with squirrels clambering
amongst pine branches laden with grapevines,
the pine above bamboo, lingzhi, prunus and
rockwork, all beneath a floral band at the foot and
above stiff lappets above the shoulder, the neck
with alternating yellow and black upright lappets
containing lotus scroll against a sky-blue ground
with cranes amid cloud scrolls, the interiors each
with lotus scroll against a red ground, wood stands.
Each 43.8cm (17¼in) high (4 ).
