A cloisonné enamel display box and stand
Qianlong
The display box formed with three solid sides enamelled on the top
with a cartouche edged with ruyi head and containing a ribboned ruyi
sceptre, all surrounded by lotus scrolls and the two shorter sides with
square scrolls and lotus scrolls surrounding a rectangular opening,
the longer sides set with glass doors opening on hinges, all above a
low reticulated enamel fringe, the stand formed as a box enamelled
with lotus scrolls fringed with a low reticulated decorative band, all
between rows of stiff lappets curving outwards to form the top and
base of the stand.
