AN INCISED YELLOW AND GREEN ‘BOYS’ BOWL
Kangxi six-character mark and of the period
Elegantly potted with rounded sides rising to an everted rim, the
exterior finely incised with a continuous scene of boys at play in a
terraced garden encircled by pine trees, beneath a stylized floral
border at the rim, all highlighted in green enamels on a yellow
ground, with a six character mark in underglaze blue on the foot.
