A MOTTLED GREY JADE 'EAGLE AND BEAR' GROUP
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The group is carved as a recumbent bear looking over its shoulders at an 明末清初 青玉英雄
eagle that is perched on its back. The fur and feathers of the animal and bird
are fnely incised. The stone is of a pale grey tone streaked with dark grey and
brown veins.
