A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE
'MONKEY AND PEACH' BRUSH REST
18TH-19TH CENTURY
It is carved as two monkeys clambering on a
gnarled fruiting peach branch surrounded by
lingzhi fungus. The stone is of a pale green tone
with some light mottled inclusions.

The group is carved as a seated monkey holding
a peach in its hands, its young climbing on its
shoulders. The stone is of a greenish-white and
mottled brown tone.
