A RARE AND FINELY-PAINTED YIXING BRUSH POT
SIGNED YANG JICHU, QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The exterior is decorated with a continuous landscape with a scholar resting on a daybed in a pavilion
shaded by a blossoming tree beside tall painterly mountains. The scholar looks out on a lotus pond
scattered with ducks towards a fsherman on the other side of the pond. The base is impressed with a
three-character seal mark.
