          A LARGE MOTTLED DARK GREEN AND BROWNISH-BLACK       明十七世紀 青玉瑞獅獻靈芝擺件
          JADE BUDDHIST LION
          LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY

          The beast is boldly carved in a recumbent position with its front and hind
          legs tucked beneath its body and its tail ficked over its rear haunches. It is   英國George Eumorfopoulos (1863-1939)舊藏
          carved with an animated expression, and its head is turned to the left with a
          lingzhi fungus in its mouth. The stone is of a deep green tone to the base which   於1953年5月購自倫敦古董商Spink & Son Ltd.
          lightens to an opaque calcifed tone on the upper sections.
