partially gilt stands carved and pierced in face well-modelled with a wide grin, hair of each lacquered black and marked, one
simulation of flowering prunus branches, the inset to the moustache, chin and ear lobes, bearing Shen Shao an Lang Kee mark, and
feet lacquered black the underside of each decorated overall in muted blue, red, ochre, with matching black and brown lacquered
bearing a mark, boxed. black pigments and gilt. wood stands decorated with foliate patterns.
