A BLUE AND WHITE ‘PETAL’-MOLDED BALUSTER JAR AND
COVER
Kangxi
The elegant body lightly molded with spiraling leaf-shaped panels and
painted in bright cobalt tones with alternate panels of peony stems and
lotus reserved on a blue ground between thin chevron bands at the
spreading foot and shoulder, the waisted neck with further lotus petals
below a chevron band at the rim, the cover similarly painted and with
a knop finial.
