A BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA
WESTERN TIBET, 17TH CENTURY
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base,
one hand in vitarkamudra and the other in his
lap, dressed in a close-ftting dhoti and adorned
with multiple beaded jewelry and a billowing
sash, the peaceful face with smiling mouth
fanked by elongated earlobes with heavy
earrings and surmounted by a crown
