A RARE PORCELAIN CONG VASE GUANGXU MARKED AND OF THE PERIOD
China, Guangxu (1875-1908)
Of rectangular, archaic shape, with a characteristic ring-foot and circular mouth, with two elephant-shaped
handles holding a ring; covered with a polished enamel of the dark, blue-violet color; each facet is well
painted with an archaic bronze and its name:“hanwang zhangzi jiaozun”,“mengjiang zun”,“zhou zisun
you”and“zhou wenwang ding”; stylized floral decorations at the base of the neck. Minor wear and firing
defects on the foot and bottom edges.

RARO VASO CONG IN PORCELLANA MARCATO GUANGXU E DEL PERIODO
Cina, Guangxu (1875-1908)
Dalla forma arcaica rettangolare col caratteristico piede ad anello e la bocca circolare, presenta due manici
applicati a forma di elefante che tengono un anello; è coperto con un lucido smalto di colore blu-violetto
scuro; ogni faccia è ben dipinta con un bronzo arcaico ed il suo nome:“hanwang zhangzi jiaozun”,
“mengjiang zun”,“zhou zisun you”e“zhou wenwang ding”; alla base del collo sono presenti decorazioni
floreali stilizzate. Piccole usure e difetti di cottura sul piede e sugli spigoli in basso.
