Mr. Conny Michalopoulos worked for Société Générale de Surveillance and was one of the
few foreigners posted to Hanoi from 1986 to 1987. He knew Bui Xuan Phai’s son, Thanh
Phuong, and acquired this collection from the artist’s close family circle. Cherished by
the Michalopoulos family for more than 30 years, it is the first time that these 3 lots have
entered the art market.
康尼 · 邁克洛普洛斯先生曾任職於瑞士通用公證行，且為一九八六至一九八六年間極少
數獲派遣至河內的外籍人士之一。他結識了裴春派之子清芳，並從畫家至親處購得本輯
藏品。此3組佳作受邁克洛普洛斯氏一家珍藏逾三十年之久，現首次釋出於藝術市場。
