DAOGUANG SEAL MARK AND PERIOD
the pear-shaped body rising from a short
spreading foot to a garlic mouth, painted
around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue tones
with six flowering and fruiting sprays, all
between spear-head, keyfret and lotus-lappet
bands at the shoulder and base, the foot with a
foaming wave band and the mouth with a lotus
scroll band, the base with a six-character seal
mark in underglaze blue
