(multiple-block construction), decorated with pigments, his eyes secured Published:
from inside using gyokugan (crystal eyes), signed underneath Iwami-shu Rokusho 20, p.86, no.128.

kore o chokoku toki ni Kansei mizunoto-ushi no toshi nari (carved at the
age of sixty-one by the Eno River in Iwami Province by Seiyodo Shi[mizu]
Tomiharu in spring of the fifth, mizunoto-ushi, year of Kansei [1793]),
