The shallow tusk carved in relief with a large centipede running almost the entire length of the tusk, signed Seki-shu Enokawa Seiyodo
along the length of the tusk, unsigned. Shi Tomiharu kyonen gojunanasai shite kore o chokoku toki ni Kansei gan
11.8cm (4 5/8in). tsuchinoto-tori jugatsu nijukunichi nari (carved at the age of fifty-seven by
the Eno River in Iwami Province by Seiyodo Shi[mizu] Tomiharu on the
£2,000 - 2,500 twenty-ninth day of the tenth month of the first, tsuchinoto-tori, year of
JPY290,000 - 360,000 Kansei [1789]) with two seals.
