QING DYNASTY, 18TH – 19TH CENTURY
the flattened baluster body rising from a stepped foot to a
waisted neck and everted rim, flanked by a pair of C-scroll
handles, the exterior carved in low relief with stylised taotie
masks between key-fret bands at the rim and foot, set on a
rockwork base issuing sprigs of lingzhi, the stone of a pale
celadon tone with russet inclusions
