A YELLOW SHOUSHAN SEAL FOR GONG
XINMING
REPUBLIC PERIOD
The oval seal is carved in shallow relief with a continuous scene
depicting geese amid grass and seeding millets. The seal face is
carved in relief with a three-character inscription reading Huailu
zhai, ‘Huailu studio’, the studio name of Gong Xinming.
