                                                                               18TH CENTURY
                                                                               The roundel is worked with a front-facing five-
                                                                               clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl beneath
                                                                               a shou character and above crashing waves. The
                                                                               dragon’s scales are finely picked out in blue, white
                                                                               and red thread.
